DG Then & Now - The Main Gear

Neither of the main landing gears fitted to Delta Golf are original to the aircraft. The starboard gear last flew on Concorde G‑BOAG, whereas the port gear arrived at Brooklands reconditioned from British Airways. The main and secondary doors for the main gear bay have been restored and refitted. Prior to moving to Brooklands, Delta Golf sat on slave undercarriage - dummy gear originally designed to enable partially assembled Concorde airframes to be mobile during the manufacturing process at Filton. When the main landing gear was fitted to DG at Brooklands in 2005, it was the first time she had sat on her proper gear for 15 years.
