DG Then & Now - The Tail Cone
Before being bolted onto the rear fuselage, DG's tail cone (which actually comprises of two separate sections) was sanded, primed and painted. The blue cheatline was also then painted on. The combined strobe and beacon light on the tip of the tail cone has been wired to illuminate and flash as it would have done operationally.
